We are committed to promoting golf to all young people in our region and providing an enjoyable environment where they can learn the game and make friends.
Coaching & Support
Coaching for our junior members is funded by the club with the support of ITM Takaka and their great initiative “Supporting Junior golf in Golden Bay”.
Blair Riordan, a professional from Total Golf Nelson, comes over every month to run a couple of clinics while other regular coaching remains available on a weekly basis by our very own experienced and supportive members.

Junior golf is not only about preserving the future of the club, but also providing a safe environment where young people can socialise among their peers, learn new skills and learn about themselves, patience and respect for their fellow club members and finally to play tournaments around the district at other clubs.
Our juniors frequently attend various junior tournaments around the region as well as fun Ambrose events here at home.
